IT Technician
Job Location:
Prince Albert
Overview:
UniTech is urgently looking for IT Technicians to support our growing customer base throughout Saskatchewan. The successful individual will be assigned tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Providing end users with hardware and software maintenance and support
- Installing and configuring IT equipment
- Ensuring network security is maintained
- Troubleshooting hardware/software problems
- Investigate & resolve reported problems
- Research and implement solutions to problems
- Documents all support calls/requests and action(s) taken
Qualifications:
- Computer Systems Technology diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Advanced computer skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Ability to travel
Additional Details:
Candidates will be evaluated based on knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
A successful candidate will also be able to manage their territory, parts inventory, and complete reports for service calls. They will also need to be able to install or oversee the installation of equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications. We also expect the candidate to be mechanically inclined, and to be proficient in basic computer and networking skills.

Primarily, you will be responsible for the following:
- Developing new business as well as managing relationships you build with current and new clients across the territory.
- Consulting and solving customer IT and business process issues. UniTech offers complete end-to-end solutions from input management, to document management and workflow, to output management.
- Areas of focus: Cold calling, driving new business, building high-level strategic customer relations, and collaboration with others.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sales experience an asset.
- Previous experience in the IT Services Industry is also an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Travel within territory required.
- A Degree or Diploma in Business would be an asset.

Print/MFP Technician
Job Location:
Prince Albert
Overview:
UniTech is urgently looking for Technicians to support our growing customer base throughout Saskatchewan. The successful individuals will be assigned tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Installation, service, and ongoing maintenance of office product equipment usually within the specified area in a timely and cost effective manner
- Achieves expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience
- Provide excellent on-site service calls by promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with UniTech service and products
- Hours of work will be 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience with repairing and maintaining different ranges of office products
- Demonstrates technical troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient technical skills and aptitude, including electro-mechanical
- Strong customer service skills (verbal and written) and the ability to follow up to ensure closure of all issues
- Must be a team player
- Knowledge of digital copiers & printers
- PC application proficiency and/or networking fundamentals
- Possess a valid driver’s license
